Halo tells the story of the Basque Country and the Mediterranean through flavor. Each menu is a narrative, structured like a book with dishes crafted as gustatory chapters. Notes de Bas de Paje, with roots partly in the Basque Country, naturally finds its place in this olfactory trail — an ode and an echo to the South-West. Notes de Bas de Paje also composes: each fragrance is a story, and its essences are its ink.

The candle is a tribute to the illumination of Notes de Bas de Paje by Halo, but it is also a symbol of the fusion of our two Souths: the peaceful, radiant South of the Mediterranean Sea and the wooded, tumultuous South of the Atlantic Ocean. It is the story of two lands and two waters — opposite, distant, and yet so close at that moment when the sun sets on the horizon. That fleeting moment when the green flash appears.
